I hear from God. He speaks and I hear His voice. I am ready and willing to obey and heed the voice of God. I listen faithfully to all things seeking always the voice of God. I know that when I speak He hears me, and since He hears me, I know that when He speaks I will hear Him. I will look for Him daily, and listen for His voice to come to me in sleep, at work, at play, on the phone, at church, anywhere I am, I will hear from God. I want for nothing and all the desires of my heart I ask the Father according to His will and He hears me and gives unto me every petition that I have asked. I am wise, walking fully in the wisdom and knowledge of Christ. I am a child of the King and an heir to throne of God. I am more than a conqueror, I am an overcomer in all things at all times. Listening to God is so important and I would like to share my thoughts with you on Listening to God!
“John 6:51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.”
The food that we eat in the natural life will only sustain the natural body, but the food that we eat in the Spiritual life will sustain us for all eternity. The living Bread is so precious. Just think, any person that feeds on the living Bread will never die. Christ is saying to us, if you will make your diet the right diet, the living Bread of Life you will have the fullness of all Spiritual Blessings. Jesus is telling us that when the Father sent Him, He came as an example that we should follow after. He came to give Himself as a sacrifice for the sins of the world; to purchase all things pertaining to life and godliness. He came to give us healing, freedom from sin, prosperity, joy, and to give us life more abundantly. Jesus came for every nation, for every man, woman and child. Jesus came so that if we would just partake of the diet placed before us in the Word of God we would never die. All we need to do is simply believe on Him. He is the greatest foundation known to man.
“1 Corinthians 3:11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.”
Just as we build a strong foundation in the natural, we must build one spiritually. Listening builds wisdom in the Spiritual realm and in the carnal realm. God’s voice can come as thought, as a dream, it can come as a warning—don’t turn here go to the next corner. Listening to God is no different than listening to a voice on the radio or TV. If you believe the voice to be real it will manifest its self to you.
"Proverbs 8: 32-35: Now therefore hearken unto me, O ye children: for blessed are they that keep my ways. 33 hear instruction, and be wise, and refuse it not. 34 Blessed is the man that heareth me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors. 35 for whoso findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favor of the LORD."
The Word of God is tells us that if we thrist we need only come to Him and He will fill us with Living Water, that will flow out from us. Jesus is saying that if we desire to be truly happy and wanting to be blessed with all Spiritual blessings than we need to come unto Him and partake of the His Divine Nature. We need to let the Word spring forth into us so that it can flow forth from us as a river of living water. The fullness of the Holy Spirit dwells in us as soon as we take Jesus as our savior. As soon as we say, that we believe and that we are persuaded to follow Him, He dwells in us.
"Matthew 13:43 Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear."
Christ is the light of the world. And by his grace he opens the Word to us. The Word tells us that we will know all things that we need to know if we walk in the Word of God. Springing forth from the Word will rivers of living water come forth to us and from us so that all we do will be unto the Glory of the Kingdom of God. The more we study the Word, the more the Word will spring forth from us. Our words are a reflection of our heart and how we listen to the words around us determines how are heart grows!
